Malin Akerman and Pablo Schreiber set tongues wagging

Malin Akerman was reportedly spotted flirting with Pablo Schreiber at a post-Emmys party.

The annual awards show was held in Los Angeles yesterday, with a host of stars flocking to parties to celebrate once the ceremony was over.

Among them was Malin, who showed off her brand new haircut too. The star's tresses are now shaved at the sides and she wore them in a Mohawk, which apparently caught the eye of Pablo Schreiber - famed for playing 'Pornstache' in Orange is the New Black. He was reportedly caught giving sweeping his hand over her butt in a cheeky manner as the bash drew to a close.

"They both looked around to make sure no one noticed," an insider told Us Weekly, "but it was obvious something was going on there."

Malin appears confident about her drastic makeover, even posting a picture on Twitter. It shows her from the side, with the huge shaved portion of her hair clearly visible and the rest swept backwards over her head. "Yup! #changeisgood #emmys2014 (sic)," she captioned it.

The look has drawn comparisons to singer-and-actress Miley Cyrus, who famously adopted an equally punky style last year. Eyewitness claimed to Us Weekly that Malin's hair seemed inspired by the star, with one admitting it completely changes her appearance.

"She was so unrecognisable that I didn't notice her the first few times I passed her!" the insider giggled.

The 36-year-old actress was at HBO's party, which was held at the Pacific Design Center in Hollywood. It was the bash of choice for many of the A-list, including Billy Crystal, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Peter Facinelli, Jaimie Alexander, Paula Patton and Sofía Vergara.

Sofía has found herself at the centre of some controversy following the ceremony, during which she was put on a pedestal and looked at for a segment. Some claimed it was sexist, which she has laughed off.

"I think it’s absolutely the opposite. It means that somebody can be hot and also be funny and make fun of herself," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I think it’s ridiculous that somebody started this - I know who she was - who has no sense of humour (and should) lighten up a little bit."
