Marcus Collins has hailed Nicole Scherzinger as an "amazing" X Factor judge because she created One Direction.
The former Pussycat Doll suggested Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson would work better as a boyband while standing in as a guest judge at bootcamp in 2010, so 2011 runner-up Marcus thinks she will be fine on the judging panel this year.
He said: "I think she'll bring all kinds. I think she'll be dressed absolutely impeccably because she always is.
"Her comments as a musician are really something to take note of. It was her that actually pieced One Direction together, was it not? So she knows what she's talking about.
"She's a really clever business woman and a fantastic performer so it's always great to get feedback from somebody who actually does the job themselves, there's no one better."
Marcus has dressed up as a zombie, a vampire and a werewolf to celebrate the launch of new computer game The Sims 3 Supernatural.
The singer revealed: "I was always really lucky on Hallowe'en, or whenever I needed a costume because my mum was a designer and she was really creative and inspired. And I always used to win the trophies whenever there was competition.
"One year I went as a Dalek and another year I was a Tin Man and she spray-painted my trainers silver, so I looked really cool."
