American X Factor host Mario Lopez has revealed that he would like his pregnant wife Courtney Mazza to have a baby boy.
The 39-year-old X Factor USA host and his wife Courtney announced they are expecting their second baby earlier this week.
The couple are already parents to two-year-old daughter Gia Francesca.
Mario adores his daughter, but would prefer it if she had a little brother to look after.
“I already have a girl, so if we have a boy that would be nice," he told Us Weekly. "But I won't be disappointed if we don't."
The couple don’t want to reveal the gender of their unborn child to the public.
"We're going to keep it old school," he said.
Mario’s spouse Courtney is looking forward to being a mother for the second time.
She hopes that her experience caring for Gia will return naturally.
"I do feel prepared in a way, although I'm hoping it's like riding a bike and that I'll just remember what I did with Gia because now all the newborn stuff she obviously doesn't need anymore,” Courtney said.
“So I try to think what did I use for this and how did I know that. Hopefully it'll come back to me."
Mario and Courtney married in Mexico last December after being together for four years.
