Marion Cotillard: Being photographed made me sick
Marion Cotillard has recalled the time when being photographed made her "sick physically".
The French actress has seen her Hollywood profile rise since starring in films including Public Enemies, Nine, Inception and Contagion.
However, the 36-year-old star admits she still isn't used to the ever-present paparazzi.
"I was four-and-a-half months pregnant and I went to this store in Paris. I was in the dressing room and looked at my belly, and they took a picture!" she recalled in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
"It was horrible. It really made me sick physically."
Marion and partner Guillaume Canet announced the birth of their son Marcel in May last year.
The beauty heard in late 2010 that director Christopher Nolan wanted her for a role in his next film project, and has discussed how she felt at the time.
Marion thought her pregnancy would prove an obstacle for landing the coveted film role.
"I'm like, 'Wait a minute, his next movie is supposed to be Batman!' And I've always been obsessed with Batman," she exclaimed.
"I called Chris and said, 'My God, I can't do that!' [He said] 'I'm writing now and nothing is impossible. We don't know where we are shooting, and I'll try to make it work.'"
Marion is starring in The Dark Knight Rises as Miranda Tate - a board member at Wayne Enterprises who is also an ally of Bruce Wayne/ Batman.
