Marisa Miller and her husband Griffin Guess have welcomed their first child together.
The 34-year-old model and her music producer spouse are overjoyed with their new son Gavin Lee Guess.
Gavin was born at 7:58p.m. in Santa Cruz, California on Thursday. The baby weighed in at a healthy 8lbs 10oz and he is 22¼ inches in length.
Marisa and Griffin couldn't be any happier with their new arrival.
"I'm completely overjoyed by the birth of our son," Marisa told People magazine.
"I feel so blessed to be a mom and am so excited to experience this next part of life."
Marisa has spoken previously about her excitement over becoming a mother.
Apparently she and Griffin have been wanting to have children together for quite some time.
"My husband and I have always looked forward to starting a family, but also wanted to enjoy just being married," she told the publication earlier this year.
"After six years together, the time feels right. My sisters and I will all have babies in 2012 so it's such an exciting time."
