Mariska Hargitay is now a mother-of-three and she could not be more delighted.
The Law & Order: SVU star adopted two children in the past year; Amaya, 14 months, and Andrew, nine months. She gave birth to son August five years ago.
The 48-year-old actress told Us Weekly that she and actor husband Peter Hermann are happy to finally have their ideal family.
"They're awesome and perfect," Mariska gushed about her brood. "My heart just keeps getting bigger and bigger."
Mariska says that she is also thrilled about the mundane parts of motherhood.
"I get very excited about my double stroller," she laughed. "Every time I look at it I get a shot of adrenaline and joy because I think, 'This is real!' I have everything I need. Our house is very joyful."
