Mark Salling out on bail after child pornography arrest
Mark Salling has been released from jail thanks to the help of loved ones.
Former Glee star Mark Salling is a free man after family members posted bail following a child pornography arrest on Tuesday (29Dec15)
The 33-year-old actor, who played bully-turned-singer Puck on the hit TV series, was arrested on charges of possessing child pornography on Tuesday morning following a raid on his home in Sunland, California.
Police officials reportedly seized computers containing images of child porn.
Salling's bail was set at $20,000 (GBP13,300).
He is due in court on 22 January (16).
Within the past few years, Salling's personal life has grabbed headlines.
In 2013 he was sued by Playboy pin-up Roxanne Gorzela amid allegations of sexual battery.
In her lawsuit, Gorzela claimed the TV star had refused to wear a condom during a consensual sex session in 2011, and when she confronted him days later and expressed concern that she had contracted a sexually-transmitted disease from him, he allegedly shoved her to the ground, causing bruising on her knees.
In March (15) they eventually reached a $2.7 million (£1.8 million) settlement, although Salling consistently denied the accusations, insisting he acted in self-defence after being attacked.
