Mark Wahlberg returns to school

Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg is going back to school

Mark Wahlberg has revealed he is returning to high school at the age of 41.

The Fighter star dropped out of school when he was 14, but has now decided to go back to class and hit the books in a bid to finally earn his diploma, reports E! Online.

Father-of-four Mark - who got involved in crime and drugs as a youngster - told US chat show host David Letterman: "I've got to take up all the courses that I missed, and I'm a little nervous."

"They're going to give me whatever credits I already have, which is probably like one or two," he joked. "But I'm going to make it happen."

However, Mark's classmates won't get much of a chance to pal up with the Hollywood star as he is planning to complete his studies via an online programme.
