Chris Martin says he is still good friends with ex Gwyneth Paltrow

Chris Martin has revealed he and Gwyneth Paltrow still have a very close relationship, despite their "conscious uncoupling".

The pair announced their split after 11 years of marriage earlier in the year, but Coldplay frontman Chris said in an interview with US show Valentine in the Morning that they were still very good friends.

According to People magazine, he confirmed: "The thing that we told everyone at the beginning of the year is true.

"We're very close. We're not together. That's the truth."

Gwyneth had announced the split on her lifestyle website Goop, writing: " We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been."

Since announcing their split, Chris and Gwyneth have been seen on a family holiday in the Bahamas and were even spotted holding hands.

Chris explained: "There's a lot of love. There's no scandal."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
