Mary-Kate ‘wants baby’
Mary-Kate Olsen is “ready to have a baby with Olivier Sarkozy”.
The actress and Olivier, 44, have been dating since May 2012, and moved in together after just three months.
After a year and a half together, the 27-year-old fashion designer is apparently ready to have children with her French boyfriend.
"She'd like to get pregnant but isn't so sure about marriage," a source told Us magazine.
Mary-Kate is said to already enjoy playing stepmother to Olivier’s children with ex-wife Charlotte Sarkozy. Thanks to the actress, Olivier is reportedly already a more hands-on father than he used to be to Julien, 12, and Margot, ten.
"Mary-Kate has made him a better father," the source added. "She remembers all the kids' special events. She thinks he's a great dad."
Having been in the acting industry with her twin Ashley since she was a baby, Mary-Kate has made it clear it was a less than ideal childhood and would think twice about her own kids being in the industry. According to the Full House star, staying out of the spotlight is much better than being a child actress.
"I look at old photos of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all. I would never wish my upbringing on anyone...but I wouldn't take it back for the world,” she told Marie Claire in 2010.
Mary-Kate believes having sibling support is crucial for a happy youth. The star says her sister Ashley is the one person she can always rely on.
"Sometimes Ash and I have to bring each other back, or push each other more," she said. "It's really helpful to have another half; we're constantly checking in with each other."
