Masterchef judge not changing

Monica Galetti is back for another series of MasterChef: The Professionals

Monica Galetti has said she has no concerns about her reputation as a stern-faced, tough-talking TV judge.

The sous chef at Michel Roux's London restaurant Le Gavroche is back for a fourth time as a judge on MasterChef: The Professionals.

"It's work, and I'm here to do a job. Michel (Roux) has put me here to be as I am in his kitchen, so I'm not going to change that just because there's a camera on me," she said.

"It's the reality of working in a high-end kitchen - the standards are high, you expect the best and when there is a problem, you deal with it."

Monica, who has penned her first book, Monica's Kitchen, added: "I think the criticism is telling them where they've gone wrong and, if anything, I'm disappointed when they don't step up to it because I'm expecting them to do very well. I don't want them to falter."

MasterChef: The Professionals is on Monday to Thursday each week on BBC Two. Monica's Kitchen is published by Quadrille, priced £20. Available now.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
