Kim Kardashian is reportedly keen to remind Kris and Bruce Jenner of all the good times they've shared.

The reality TV star's mum and her stepdad announced last month they were separating after 22 years of marriage.

Despite the breakup, the whole clan came together for Bruce and Kim's daughter Kendall, who turned 18 earlier this month.

"Kim thought Kendall's birthday was the perfect opportunity to bring her parents together," a source explained to British magazine Star.

"She wanted to remind them of the good times they've shared."

Little sister Kylie, 16, joined the fun, as did Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.

Bruce's sons from his previous marriage to Linda Thompson, Brody and Brandon, were also at the party and Kris posted a snap of herself with Bruce and his boys.

Apparently 33-year-old Kim's plan worked, as her mother found herself reminiscing.

"Spending this time together reminded Kris and Bruce of how well they get on and how much their youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie, still need them," the insider continued.

"Kim is certain Bruce still cares for Kris and she knows her mum is intent on doing what is best for the family overall."

There are rumours Bruce has been spending time with his ex-wife Linda as he copes with the split from Kris.

Despite the progress, the family are aware it's not as easy as Bruce and Kris simply reuniting.

"Kim knows it's going to take more than a family day out to fix Kris and Bruce's relationship, but after everyone had such a great time together it was like their breakup never happened," the source finished.

"Kim is optimistic that it's the first step towards them reuniting."
