Matthew: Glee has British edge

Matthew Morrison is taken aback by Glee's success in the UK

Glee's sexy teacher Matthew Morrison has been stunned by the number of UK fans the show has.

"As big as I thought the show was in the United States, when I travelled to the UK I was blown away," he admitted in a break from filming Season 2 in the States.

He explained: "It was just really cool to have people embrace it so much. It really is a British kind of show, the edginess and the snarkiness."

The new season, which begins on E4 on Jan 10, sees Will face some criticism from the club for his somewhat dated musical choices.

"Yeah, yeah, I just show up and say the lines. I don't have those musical choices!" the actor laughed.

He added: "It's interesting, I never thought I would be singing Ice Ice Baby, but 'Go Will!'"
