Matthew McConaughey is proud of his toddler daughter who carried out flower girl duties at his wedding.
The Hollywood hunk tied the knot with his fiancée Camila Alves at his home in Austin, Texas, at the beginning of this month. The pair have two children together; son Levi, four, and two-year-old daughter Vida, who Matthew claims stole the show at his big day.
"Levi brought the rings on a necklace. Vida was the flower girl," he explained on the TODAY show. "I don't think she dropped one petal. It was only 25 yards. It took them two minutes to make it this far.
"They stopped, talked to some guests. Then I crouched down and they came running this way and it all worked out."
Matthew is currently starring in male stripper movie Magic Mike, alongside Channing Tatum and Matt Bomer. The star laughed when host Ann Curry suggested "not many people get engaged and learn how to strip in the same period of time."
"No coincidence," he teased. "If I was going to be in the one stripper movie of my lifeI would have regretted not [doing it]."
Matthew is content with his family and film career. The 42-year-old is eager to continue making good decisions to benefit both himself and his brood.
"Life is healthy, personal life is good, career feels good and I am just going to keep on cultivating," he smiled reflectively.
