Max Irons: Pattinson seems grounded

Max Irons

Max Irons is confident that Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are "normal".

The British actor appears in new film The Host, which is based on the sci-fi love story from Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.

His role in the highly-anticipated big screen adaptation is set to launch him into the A-list stratosphere, just as Twilight did for its stars.

Max shared what he'd ask Robert and his Twilight co-star Taylor if he had the chance.

"Oh gosh - how did he and Taylor stay so balanced? They seem normal, they have a laugh and they keep their friends close. Both of them seem smart," he gushed to British magazine more!

The son of actor Jeremy Irons is not so sure the fans of Twilight are as ordinary as its cast. Max shared a freaky encounter he had with a 'Twihard' who knew he was working with Stephenie.

"We met a fan of Twilight who had her teeth filed down into fangs - that's quite crazy!" he exclaimed.

The actor gushed about which other male celebrities he admires. The 27-year-old shared who he'd most like to be if he could take over someone else's body like the aliens in The Host.

"Jay-Z because he's so cool, but I've said that a lot so let's mix it up and say [sprinter] Usain Bolt too. He seems fun and, as well, he's fast!" he laughed.
