Davina McCall has said her heart "hurts so much" after the death of her sister.
The Million Pound Drop host took to Twitter to tell followers her half-sister Caroline had lost her cancer battle.
She wrote: "My beautiful brave sister Caroline lost her fight against cancer today. My heart hurts so much."
Davina also posted a picture of her "amazing sister" and later thanked fans for their support.
Celebrity friends including Emma Bunton and Alan Carr sent messages of sympathy to the TV presenter.
Emma wrote: "I am so sorry to hear this, thinking of you and your family at such a sad time. Sending you lots of hugs."
Alan said: "Sending you all my love, what sad news."
