McConaughey to present at Globes
Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston and Jamie Dornan have been revealed as presenters for this Sunday’s Golden Globe awards.
It was announced on Thursday that the 45-year-old actor will take to the stage at Sunday’s ceremony.
Other names confirmed in the latest batch of presenters included Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Dornan, Colin Firth, Kate Beckinsale and Harrison Ford.
Jeremy Renner, Lupita Nyong’o, Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda and Kerry Washington, while Jennifer Lopez and Adam Levine are representing the music industry.
The Golden Globes see the cream of Hollywood walk the red carpet, as the most talented actors are recognised for their work.
The ceremony will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poelher, for the third year running.
However, Tina is less than prepared for her big night.
The former Saturday Night Live comedienne joked that she and Amy have yet to discuss what they are going to talk about as the present the show.
"Amy and I, we'll get together tomorrow? One thing I will say about us: We don't work hard. Always know that about us," she told Access Hollywood, adding they will fine tune their material until "the last second".
Among the nominees at the awards are Emily Blunt, who is up for the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy Award at the upcoming ceremony, thanks to her role as The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. She was in Dubai when she was told about her nod, and it took a little while to register with her.
"It's thrilling! I was at the Dubai Film Festival, I was a juror, I was on the jury so they give you a few perks," she told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel last month. "So I was having a massage! It was right after, I was kind of out of it and I heard and was very excited."
