McFall's mentor role on The Voice

Leah McFall is set to return to The Voice - as a guest mentor during the battle rounds.

The 24-year-old, who finished as runner-up to winner Andrea Begley in the second series of the BBC singing show, will help her former coach Will.i.am work with his acts.

She joins his previous assistant Dante Santiago, who will once agai n join the rapper to mentor his acts, reported Metro.

"Fantastic conclusion to #teamwill... What a wee beast team!! Can't wait to meet you all," she tweeted.

Tinie Tempah, Jake Shears and Katy B are also among the guest mentors for the episode, which will air on BBC One on March 1.

Tinie will join Sir Tom Jones, while Scissor Sisters frontman Jake will assist Kylie and chart-topper Katy will help Ricky Wilson's team.

Leah, who has unveiled her debut single No Ordinary Love, was the favourite to win in the 2013 series, but lost out to Andrea.
