Kevin McHale is “excited” now Cory Monteith has completed a stint in rehab and thinks that he looks “great” following his break from work.

The Glee actor was commenting after his 30-year-old co-star was spotted following a stint in treatment for his addiction problems.

Having completed time at a haven in Antigua, Kevin revealed he is looking forward to what’s to come from his work colleague.

"I'm very excited," he told E! News at Tammy Haddad's annual White House Correspondents' Garden Brunch in Washington, D.C. "I saw the pictures. He looks great."

Kevin couldn’t be more thrilled that Cory made the choice to get help and take a break from working.

He thinks that putting his commitments on hold to focus on himself will be best in the long run.

"It was the right thing to do," he said.

Cory’s other co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele has also been a supporting force behind the star.

After she was spotted picking him up from the airport as he made his way home to Los Angeles, Kevin commented that Lea’s love is something to be thankful for.

"He's got a good woman behind him," Kevin added about the 26-year-old.

Upon arriving at LAX on Friday, Lea and Cory looked "very happy, smiling the entire time," an insider revealed.

"Sending out big love to everyone," Monteith tweeted once he had arrived home. "Thank you for the continued support! It means the world to me! :)"
