Loose Women host Andrea McLean has told of the "wobble" which led to her pulling out of her presenting role moments before she was due on air.
The star said she "completely crumbled" shortly before Friday's show, prompting producers to draft in This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford at the last moment.
It followed a week of promotion for Andrea's new book in which she had to talk about her marriage breakdown.
She said she had now recovered, during an interview with ITV1 presenter Lorraine Kelly.
Speaking on the Lorraine show, she said: "I'm all right now. A bit of a wobble on Friday.
"I think I had been bottling everything up, because obviously to everyone else this (her split from her husband) is all brand new, but it's been bubbling away for an awful long time.
"As my mum said, 'you put everything in a box, and the lid had to open'. And it did. And suddenly I just completely crumbled.
"But everyone was so lovely and supportive, and I've had a weekend at home with my mum making me soup, and I'm fine."
