Megan Fox: I'm not ambitious
Megan Fox believes good things come to people who aren't "hungry" for them.
The actress has landed plenty of big movie roles, such as delighting fans in the first two Transformers instalments.
She took a break to raise her children Noah and Bodhi with her husband Brian Austin Green and her first film in two years is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is due out this month.
"I've never been very ambitious, which is why it's so bizarre that I've had any success," she mused to the UK edition of Cosmopolitan.
"Most people make three movies a year. I barely make one. Sometimes when you're not hungry for something, amazing projects fall into your lap."
The star added she'd like to do more comedy, citing her role in This Is 40 as one of her most fun.
She loved working with Leslie Mann on the funny flick, but admits she often finds it hard to get along with other women.
"I consider myself a girl's girl in that I'm not competitive, jealous or catty," she reasoned. "But I don't have a ton of female friends - I have one: Mindy, a facialist.
"I don't have many guy friends either. I've never been a social butterfly. I don't feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that's all I need."
Megan and Brian have been married since 2010. She admits their sex life is "at a stand-still" since having kids, but would never dream of straying.
"There's no other option," she answered when quizzed about monogamy. "You can't be in a relationship without it!"
