Mel C can't imagine herself settling down with a husband in the near future.

The former Spice Girl - real name Melanie Chisholm - was in a long-term relationship with property developer Thomas Starr but has been single since they split last year.

The 39-year-old is mother to four-year-old Scarlet but doesn't see a wedding in her near future.

"No, I've never been married, I'm too young!" she exclaimed to the British edition of OK! magazine.

"[Bandmates] Mel B's and Victoria [Beckham's] weddings were big OK! weddings and that was such an incredible time for the Spice Girls - we'd come off tour and the girl had just had babies and they were really special, crazy times."

Mel's superstar connections mean she has been to some amazing ceremonies.

The singer recalled her favourite famous nuptials.

"Liza Minnelli's [wedding to David Gest] was amazing, I've never seen such a random mixture of superstars in one place," she marvelled.

"Michael Jackson was best man, God rest his soul, and to be in the same room as him was incredible, as well as Elizabeth Taylor, Lauren Bacall, Mickey Rooney, David Hasselhoff, Petula Clark, and me - weird! It was a shame that marriage didn't work out, but it was definitely a fun celebrity one to be at!"

Mel is certainly in no rush to settle down.

Right now, she is enjoying being single and having a good time with her pals.

"I'm having loads of fun reconnecting with all my female friends again - it's very different going out on the town with all the single girls, it's a lot more dangerous but I'm enjoying life a lot!" she smiled.
