Mena Suvari could "never have guessed" she would be twice-divorced by the age of 33.
The American Beauty actress divorced her second husband, concert promoter Simone Sestito, earlier this year. Despite having two failed marriages behind her, Mena hasn't ruled out walking down the aisle again.
"I could have also never guessed that my personal life would turn out the way it has," Mena revealed to British newspaper The Sun.
"But I am not against marriage and was set a great example of how happy it could be by my mom."
The star has a close relationship with her mother and has often confided in her about her love life. Mena's mother has always been supportive of her; although she made it clear she disapproved of her decision to wed her first husband when she was 21.
"When I became engaged [to first husband, cinematographer Robert Brinkman, 17 years her senior], she was the first person I told. I knew she would not be shocked - because my dad was 24 years older than her," Mena continued.
"She was not too pleased, though, when we eloped. We got married on a cliff in Big Sur, California, with just us and the minister."
