Ever since Rihanna turned up to the CFDA Awards wearing nothing but netting and glitter, there’s been something of a nudity arms race between pop stars desperate to out-raunch each other.

But who could have predicted that mother-of-one, Obama-supporting Beyoncé would have outdone the likes of Miley and even Kim Kardashian when she took to the Met Gala 2015 with nothing but a sprinkling of jewel embellishments to cover her modesty?
