Midler lands movie comeback role
Bette Midler is making a comeback to the big screen, after apparently signing up for new family movie Us & Them.
The Grammy-winning star will be joining Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark actress Bailee Madison and Billy Crystal in the upcoming film directed by Andy Fickman, reported Variety.com.
Bette would play the estranged wife to Billy's character - a baseball commentator who has to look after his three grandchildren - while 11-year-old Madison will take on the role of one of the couple's grandchildren.
The comedy, which is said to explore the generational gap between the parenting styles of grandparents and their children, is expected to start shooting shortly in Atlanta.
Bette was last seen on screen in 2008 drama The Women and lent her voice to Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore.
