Mike Sorrentino 'stronger and better'
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino feels "better than ever."
The Jersey Shore star admitted himself into the Cirque Lodge facility several weeks ago to battle his addiction to prescription pills.
Mike was released from the facility this week and is elated to be back in his abode.
"The Situation is home!! I just want to thank everyone for their support and words of encouragement," Mike posted on Twitter Thursday. "I'm back stronger and better than ever!"
Before entering rehab Mike's drug intake reached astronomical heights.
"Mike was taking unbelievable amounts of Dilaudid along with Xanax and Ambien," a source told Radar Online. "Mike was taking about 20-30 pills a day which easily could have killed him. [He] is very lucky that he didn't overdose and die, because the amount of prescription drugs was that high and deadly."
Mike is reportedly set to join the wild Jersey Shore family on the MTV reality show for its upcoming sixth season.
It is unknown how he will cope with being in that environment, as the cast is known for getting involved in raucous, boozy antics.
