Mila talks challenges of latest role

Mila Kunis doesn't even want to think about what it would be like to have to fight to see her child.

The 30-year-old star is currently expecting her first baby with her fiancé Ashton Kutcher, rumoured to be a little girl.

On Monday she attended the premiere of her movie Third Person in Hollywood, in which she plays a mother who is desperate to see her son after being kept away from him following allegations she tried to kill the child. Mila found it incredibly hard to put herself in her character Julia's position.

"I don't think any mother ever wants to put herself in a position to imagine having to fight for her child," she told ET Online.

Third Person follows three inter-locking love stories and is set in Paris, Rome and New York. It boasts an all-star cast with James Franco taking on the role of Julia's son's father Rick. Liam Neeson, Olivia Wilde, Adrien Brody and Kim Basinger also appear in the release.

Ashton didn't accompany Mila on last night's red carpet, where she chose to hide her growing baby bump in a short, billowing, silk dress accessorised with nude pumps.

The couple are known to be secretive about their relationship, with both preferring to keep things private. Mila did confirm the pregnancy during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, where she explained her Ukrainian heritage will be a big part of the tot's upbringing.

"[Aston's] been taking classes [in the language] for like six months now," she explained. "He does it twice a week, a woman comes to the house and gives him lessons."

It's not the only steps the actor has taken to prepare for fatherhood. He's also stocked the couple's spare fridge with food like pickles so Mila can satisfy any cravings she has.
