Miley Cyrus is preparing the "biggest record ever" before she even thinks of wedding plans.
The songstress recently announced her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, although Miley insists she's going to focus on her new music before walking down the aisle.
She's currently working on her fourth studio album with producer Pharrell Williams and also has a new single which will be released before the end of the year.
"[First] this record - the biggest record I've ever had - then I'll do wedding planning," she told MTV at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night.
"I've got so much going with this record, this record's going to, like, kill me," she added to E! Online. "I'm really excited to get obviously married, but I kind of already feel married. I know we're forever and I don't really need a paper right now."
The 19-year-old - who looked glamorous in a sleek black number - is excited for fans to hear her new music.
Miley insists it will defy people's expectations.
"It's all really different," she explained. "We've been working really hard and the record, I'm really proud of the album. It's my favourite thing I've done, probably ever."
