Miley: I gave the world too much

Miley Cyrus has been talking to Elle

Miley Cyrus has said she has learned to keep her private life private and that is why she and fiance Liam Hemsworth keep their relationship low-key.

The 20-year-old singer and the 23-year-old Hunger Games star - who began dating in 2009 after starring together in love story The Last Song and got engaged last year - have been surrounded by split rumours.

But Miley told Elle UK as she posed for a photoshoot with her engagement ring firmly on: "We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it any more."

She added: "We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight - into my life and my puppies and my house - and I just don't feel they get that privilege any more.

"Like on my Twitter, I'm much more... not conservative, but you don't see a picture of my dogs. You don't get that personal stuff any more."

The former child star also said she feels she can have a sexy image without giving all of herself.

Miley said: "A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your t**s. I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes - or lack of clothes."

Defending the nude photoshoot in a bedsheet that she did at the age of 15 for photographer Annie Leibovitz, she said: "You can't even look at something that's just beautiful without immediately going to sex. That's sad."

The star also revealed she had advised 19-year-old Justin Bieber not to get carried away by fame.

She said: "I noticed he [Justin Bieber] was taking all these photos of people and doing a lot of s***, and I just grabbed him and said, 'Just take a snapshot in your brain of this moment, so you don't forget'."

Aries:

Responsibilities involving insurance, inheritances and taxes will command your attention. Don't put these matters off a moment longer. You may be busy with work and family, but these duties will never let up. If you continue to spend all of your energy on these things, you'll miss a golden opportunity. Ask colleagues and relatives for help with mundane errands while you focus on the long term financial future. If you don't protect your economic interests, nobody else will.More
