Miley Cyrus is cleaning out her closet - for a good cause.
Fans can own a piece of the Hannah Montana star after she announced plans to auction off her clothing and accessories on eBay, with proceeds going to the Get Ur Good On charity, reported MTV.com.
"For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music and that's something that's really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities," the singer-actress said in a video message posted on the Get Ur Good On site.
The auction - which is scheduled to kick off later this month - is part of Miley's involvement with Youth Service America, the organisation that runs Get Ur Good On and aims to help children and young people in the US.
"There's amazing charities right here in America. You don't have to travel 30 hours, you don't have to give a billion dollars," she said.
"It's not about how much or how far, it's about looking at your neighbours and seeing how you can help. This isn't just stuff that's all over the world, it's right here, it's right next to you. It's important to get involved."
