Moretz: I’m not rebellious
Chloë Grace Moretz admits she feels no need to rebel like the average teenager.
The 16-year-old actress has murdered and committed other crimes in movies such as Kick-Ass and Let Me In.
However she maintains that fame hasn’t gone to her head and she is a good girl through and through.
“I’m not a rebellious teen. Rebellion for me is staying out 30 minutes past my curfew,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “This is my life so why would I want to rebel against it?”
Although she follows her parents’ instruction, the thespian revealed that she makes her own career decisions.
The teenager is comfortable with conducting business meetings with high-profile industry executives.
“I’m used to it by now,” she said. “I have no problem talking to those people.”
Chloë is homeschooled as she carries out a successful career in motion pictures. But she tries to get out to events other young people enjoy as much as possible.
“I go to school things with my friends,” she confessed. “I’ve been to proms and homecomings and whatever else. Yeah that could be my life but I don’t miss it.
“My kind of prom is a premiere and my kind of homecoming is a red carpet.”
Her new movie, a remake of the classic horror flick Carrie, is released from October 18.
Her co-star Julianne Moore recently gushed about what a professional the teenager is to work with.
"She's so delightful," the 52-year-old told E! News. "I mean, she was 15 when we shot this and she's very professional, really talented, very engaging and wants to do well and great work. I love her. I loved being with her."
