Moretz: I've not done a school play

Chloe Grace Moretz has revealed that despite beginning her Hollywood career at the age of seven, she has never even been in a school play.

The Kick-Ass actress, 17, is now starring on stage in The Library, an off-Broadway play which deals with the fall-out from a school shooting.

But Chloe told The Tonight Show in the US : "It's my first time on stage ... I didn't do school plays or anything."

Chloe has moved to New York for the play, directed by Steven Soderbergh.

"I'm living in the city just like when I was six years old," she said. " I'm still terrified of the subway. The time machine of it all really makes me a little afraid. It's quick, but I wouldn't take it alone."

But the Carrie actress added that her mum wouldn't let her use the subway alone anyway.

"My mum's pretty strict with that. She has (an) account on my phone so she can track where I am and she can see where I'm picked up and dropped off."
