Morrison: I'm not rushing wedding
Matthew Morrison isn't in a rush to marry his model fiancée Renee Puente.
The Glee star announced his engagement to model Renee Puente in June but he's in no rush to say "I do".
Asked about wedding planning, the actor told America's People magazine: "It's going good. We're a little ways out. Probably not till like 2015 so we're just taking our time. But we're well into it."
Matthew didn't elaborate on any details planned for the nuptials. But he did say guests can expect to be entertained.
"I want my wedding to kind of be a bunch of performances," he explained. "I want all my friends to get up and sing. I have very musical friends so I just want it to be a fun night where everyone just, you know they want to step up to the mic and sing a song."
Matthew's loved ones might get quite the treat, as Sir Elton John was the pal who confirmed his engagement last summer.
The music legend broke the news on stage at his lavish White Tie and Tiara Ball in the UK when he joined Chris Martin on stage and dedicated a rendition of his hit 1970 track Your Song to the happy couple, according to E! News.
While Matthew may not be ready to tie the knot, he isn't shy about expressing his affection for his fiancée.
The actor called Renee his soul mate in a previous interview.
"The older you get, the more secure you are with yourself. You have to really know yourself before you can truly love someone," he told British magazine Cosmopolitan. "I've got to experience many relationships and you get to know what you like and tolerate. I've had my heart broken and it turned me off relationships and trusting women for a long time, but you always overcome it."
