Morrison ‘snaps up $2M home’
Matthew Morrison has reportedly purchased his marital home in New York City.
The Glee star, 35, is the new owner of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Manhattan’s trendy Chelsea neighbourhood, according to the New York Daily News.
Property records obtained by the outlet show the 28th Street residence is located a short walk from the city’s High Line, an elevated one-mile park built on a former railroad line that ran through the city.
The 1,245 sq ft residence also reportedly features views of the Hudson River and the downtown skyline.
Luxury amenities are said to include a fitness centre, roof terrace with cabanas, white oak floors, stained walnut cabinets and new appliances.
Reports of the real-estate deal, on which his spokesperson declined to comment, follow in the heels of Matthew’s engagement to fiancée Renee Puente.
The couple became engaged last year, and according to the News are expected to get hitched “any day now”.
Matthew and Renee began dating in 2011.
The star admitted in December he stunned his bride-to-be with his proposal during a horseback ride in Maui.
"She couldn't breathe for a little bit. So I had to do some CPR, then I asked her again and she said yes," he joked to Britain's OK! magazine.
"We tied the horses up and took a little walk on the beach and I knelt down and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me."
