Motherhood's got a bad rep: Sienna

Sienna Miller plays Tippi Hedren in The Girl

Sienna Miller has said she was warned not to have children - but she is glad she ignored the advice.

The Layer Cake and Factory Girl actress and her actor fiance Tom Sturridge became parents in July to a daughter, Marlowe.

She told the Radio Times: "My life is really different, it's much better.

"People told me not to have kids, but I think motherhood's got a bad rep - I don't feel compromised. In fact, I don't want to be anywhere else except with her."

Sienna, 30, was attacked by birds for her role as Tippi Hedren in BBC Two drama The Girl, about director Alfred Hitchcock's obsession with the actress he cast in The Birds.

"I did go through a bird attack for two hours. It pales in comparison to what she (Hedren) was subjected to, but it was pretty horrible," she said.

"There were men off-camera with boxes of birds, throwing seagulls and pigeons in my face."

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
