Mueller ‘denied Adderall, contact with Lohan’

Brooke Mueller

Brooke Mueller has reportedly been denied medication for Attention Deficit Disorder and is not permitted to speak with Lindsay Lohan while they seek treatment at Betty Ford Center.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife is undergoing treatment for drug addiction at The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California. It is the same facility Lindsay Lohan is currently housed.

Radar Online reports Brooke has been prohibited from taking Adderall while admitted.

The 35-year-old socialite apparently relied on the prescription drug “for years” to treat her ADD.

The website reports Brooke has also been forbidden from having contact with Lindsay, Charlie’s Scary Movie 5 co-star. The actress is undergoing treatment at Betty Ford on court order and has also reportedly been banned from using the drug.

Both women have been accused of abusing Adderall to lose weight. The pill is known to suppress appetite.

“Whenever Brooke goes off the medication she gains weight,” a source said. “The doctors determined that Brooke should never be taking Adderall because it’s an amphetamine based drug, and she is being treated for an addiction to crystal meth. She is being placed on another drug for ADD that won’t trigger a relapse.”

Brooke is said to be “extremely upset” by the decision.

Charlie’s ex has meanwhile been temporarily stripped of custody of their twin sons.

The courts have placed four-year-old boys, Max and Bob, in the custody of Charlie’s other ex-wife Denise Richards while she remains in rehab.

It is unclear if Brooke will resume guardianship of the children upon her release.
