Munn moans about Los Angeles marathon

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn was among stars broadcasting their irritation at Los Angeles marathon runners on Sunday as she tweeted fans about being stuck in abysmal traffic.

The 32-year-old actress was irritated by the 26.2 mile trek staged from Dodger Stadium in trendy Echo Park to the Santa Monica Pier.

The annual event resulted in several street closures, compounding traffic problems in the already congested city as 24,000 runners pounded the pavement.

But Olivia wasn’t feeling inspired by the athletes’ dedication and instead was rather irritated.

“Dear LA Marathon Runner People, I hope it's as fun for you to run in as this traffic is for me to be in. Love, Oliviaxox,” she tweeted on Sunday afternoon.

Evan Rachel Wood echoed her feelings.

The pregnant actress is expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell but had to cancel her prenatal yoga class because traffic was so bad.

“Was gonna prenatal yoga this morning, then remembered its the la marathon. No thanks! #traffic,” she wrote.

Not all celebrities were so upset by the gridlock.

Paula Abdul offered her support to athletes and organisers.

“Congratulations to all #LAMarathon runners, workers and volunteers! :)) xoP,” she tweeted.

The fastest time at the Los Angeles marathon went to Aleksandra Duliba who completed the run in an astonishing two hours 26 minutes and eight seconds.
