Muppets congratulate Will and Kate
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy were among the stars offering their congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son.
The Muppets stars - who are currently in London filming their new movie Muppets Most Wanted - have sent a video message to the royal couple, and Miss Piggy confessed she was starting to feel broody.
She shrieked to Kermit: "Isn't it exciting?! Kate is a mummy, Prince William is a daddy. It kind of makes you want to have a royal child of your own, doesn't it Kermie? Can't you just hear the patter of little tadpole feet."
Kermit shrugged: "Not really... tadpoles don't have feet."
Other stars including Cheryl Cole, Cara Delevingne, Emma Bunton, Amanda Holden, magician Dynamo and Phillip Schofield took to Twitter to offer their congratulations.
Joan Rivers wrote: "Congratulations to Kate and William on the birth of their baby boy! So relieved that his name won't include the words Ivy or Apple."
Professor Green tweeted: "i hope the royal baby is a rebel, Harry's all alone out 'ere. [sic]"
