Murphy plans thrills for Michele

Ryan Murphy says he has plenty of juicy storylines planned for Rachel and Kurt in Glee

Lea Michele is set for more excitement in the third series of Glee, creator Ryan Murphy has revealed.

The actress, who plays lovestruck Rachel, is expected to have more in store for the upcoming season, along with Chris Colfer, who plays gay teen Kurt.

"Rachel and Kurt are two characters who I am very fond of personally and they will always get great material. We have great stuff for them," Ryan told the Hollywood Reporter.

"I think Lea is hilarious. So we're going to write some big stuff [for her]. I'm really interested in seeing Rachel's gay dads who we've never met. I've said that I don't want to do that. But maybe now is the time to do it."

He added: "Also, we want to give Chris Colfer a really fun uplifting storyline after the heaviness of last year."

Jane Lynch, who plays acerbic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, can also expect some thrills for her script.

"We've had Sue taking on the glee club enough times. I think now Sue needs to turn her hatred toward the nation," Ryan continued.
