Murs: I like watching The Voice

Olly Murs has revealed that he enjoys watching The Voice.

The Heart Skips A Beat singer, who co-presented The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack, admitted that he has seen the BBC rival show - and liked it.

"I've been watching The Voice and Britain's Got Talent, I've been watching them all. I've been a big fan of reality TV," he said.

"I think the banter's great, the chemistry is good between the judges and the talent seems to be really good as well. It seems to be a big success this year, it just depends on how well the artists do when they finish."

Olly - whose performance at MTV Presents Titanic Sounds will be shown on MTV UK on May 5 - hopes that The Voice can successfully nurture some home-grown talent.

"In America, the guy that won it didn't do very well so there hasn't been huge success stories from The Voice yet. Hopefully the UK one will produce someone who's going to do well," he added.

He reckoned that the shows needn't be competitors: "The Voice has been a big success and as long as we continue getting good talent, it's fine."

The 27-year-old also confirmed that he could be returning to co-host The Xtra Factor.

"I've been told that I'm doing it, but I haven't signed on the dotted line yet so I'm just waiting on the contract. I'd love to go back on The Xtra Factor - it's a big show and I like it," he said.
