Naomi Watts: I do my own laundry
Actress Naomi Watts, who is mother to two sons with her longtime partner Liev Schreiber, has spoken about how she balances her “exhausting” work and domestic schedule.
The 44-year-old Academy Award-nominated actress shares two young sons, Alexander, six, and Samuel, five, with longtime partner Liev Schreiber.
This year’s Awards Season will end with the Oscars at the end of the month, where she is nominated for her role in The Impossible, and Naomi has had very few chances to relax.
Us Weekly reports that the star is feeling a little tired at the moment.
"It's pretty exhausting," Naomi revealed to journalists Monday at The Hollywood Reporter Nominees Reception at Spago Restaurant in Beverly Hills.
"It's so great, it's the best thing. Most high rewards you can have in anything, but it's definitely exhausting being a mom."
Naomi takes on her own domestic chores by herself normally.
She will only ask for assistance if she doesn’t “make it home in time."
"I do my own laundry, but I sometimes have help," Naomi detailed.
"I cook. I definitely don't have a chef.”
When asked how she will cope with the “deafening silence” following the Oscars buzz, Naomi is very clear on the actions she’ll take.
"I'm looking forward to the deafening!" she smiled.
Naomi is up against Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Emmanuelle Riva and nine-year-old Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis in the Best Actress category at this year’s glamorous awards ceremony.
The Oscars will take place in Los Angeles on February 24 and will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane.
