The Academy Award-winning actress skipped the coveted ceremony in Los Angeles and headed straight to the annual star-studded bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel instead.
Natalie posed on the red carpet with her husband Benjamin Millepied, as she took a break from her role as mother to young son Aleph.
The stunning star wowed in an elegant flowing white Dior floor-length gown which featured a black bow tied over her shoulder.
Natalie accessorised with Anna Hu jewels and wore her long brunette locks in a chic updo.
Naomi Watts also turned up to the West Hollywood bash with Liev Schreiber, who was spotted taking photos of his long-term love on the red carpet over at the ceremony earlier on in the night.
The 44-year-old actress lost out on the award for best actress to Jennifer Lawrence, but it didn't stop her from shining in an Emilio Pucci black and gold beaded gown at the bash.

The New Girl actress - who wore a beaded Valentino gown to the event - posted a series of tweets on the social networking site.
