Kunal Nayyar has revealed that The Big Bang Theory bromance between Raj Koothrappali and Howard Wolowitz may be stronger in the sixth season.

The friendship between the inseparable duo - portrayed by Kunal and Simon Helberg respectively - is set to change, following Howard's marriage to Bernadette (played by Melissa Lauch).

"I think that era might be over, although maybe it could get stronger. Howard has always been Raj's crutch but maybe now Raj becomes Howard's crutch, because Howard may need an escape from his wife..." he teased.

"Raj always lived vicariously through Howard, maybe now Howard begins to live vicariously through Raj?" the 31-year-old added.

Kunal, who was born in London but now lives in Los Angeles, hopes that there will be some romance for his alter-ego in the coming series, which will premiere on US screens on September 27 before making its way onto E4 in the UK.

"I don't know what is going to happen next season. I think it will be fun if Raj finds love, because his turn is up. Now is his turn because everyone else has been there," he said.

"That would be fun, but at the same time, I'm fine with whatever the writers come up with. They're so brilliant at what they do, so I would be a fool to try and pave my own way on the show. I trust them."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Pisces:

It's sometimes difficult for a retiring person like you to showcase your talent. You are tired of being eclipsed by pushy rivals. By showing your work to the right people, you can finally gain the fame and acclaim you deserve. Fortunately, an influential friend, neighbour or colleague can set up an interview or introduction. An important executive or critic will be impressed by your efforts. If you're offered an unpaid position as an intern or apprentice, take it. This will lead to professional opportunities you couldn't find through other channels.More
