Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian has followed his mother on to the screen - after filming scenes as an extra for Neighbours.
The 47-year-old actress and model announced to her online followers that the youngster had been given a part in the Aussie soap.
She earlier told her fans that the 10-year-old had been merely due to visit the set of the show, which is filmed in Melbourne where she is staying with fiance Shane Warne, the former cricketer.
Liz wrote on Twitter: "My son totally overexcited as he's visiting the Neighbours set today."
Two hours later she added: "My son in heaven - he got to be an extra in Neighbours today."
The model and actress made a number of screen appearances, including in the TV series Sharpe and the film Passenger 57, before gaining a higher profile through the revealing Versace dress she wore to accompany then boyfriend Hugh Grant to the premiere of his film Four Weddings And A Funeral.
She went on to appear in Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery and Bedazzled, but also devoted herself to swimwear design, organic foods and film production. Hurley recently revived her acting career by appearing in Gossip Girl.
