Nelly: I wasn't aware of the drugs

Nelly

Nelly has revealed that he was unaware his tour bus was loaded with narcotics.

The 37-year-old Grammy-winner, real name Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., was detained in Texas at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca on Wednesday night after law enforcement officials found heroin, marijuana and a loaded gun in his vehicle.

Police sources said passenger Brian Keith Jones confessed the drugs and gun were his and was placed under arrest.

Nelly was oblivious to the illegal load his vehicle was carrying.

"It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning," he told TMZ.

A police canine is said to have detected drugs in the vehicle.

Police apparently found .64oz of heroin and over ten pounds of marijuana inside a large duffel bag.

A loaded .45 caliber pistol was also reportedly seized in the search.

The Hot in Herre hitmaker was riding the bus with six other people at the time.

All passengers were detained during the search.

Nelly and the four remaining passengers have since been released from custody.

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
