New Apprentice series coming soon
Lord Sugar has revealed the next series of his hit show The Apprentice will begin next month.
The BBC1 show has often been a fixture of spring schedules but last year's series was delayed due to the general election and his status as a Labour peer.
But in a message on Twitter today he confirmed: "New series of Apprentice starts in early May."
The business tycoon has become a prolific user of the social networking site, which he has frequently used to needle TV presenter Piers Morgan.
Last summer he announced that the winner of the 2011 competition would become a "business partner" rather than an employee, as in previous series.
He is planning to invest £250,000 in a start-up company, jointly headed by the winning candidate.
