New motoring show is in gear, says Jeremy Clarkson
Jeremy Clarkson has insisted plans are well under way for his new motoring show with Richard Hammond and James May and that filming is to begin in the next few weeks.
The former Top Gear presenter went on Twitter after May claimed during a recent Press appearance that they had got "nowhere" with the new show, due to air on Amazon Prime next year.
Clarkson tweeted: "To be clear, May is busy with other stuff but Hammond, (former Top Gear producer Andy) Wilman and I are extremely busy putting our new show together."
The trio signed a new deal, reportedly worth millions, with the internet streaming service during the summer after their contracts with the BBC were not renewed following Clarkson's fracas with a Top Gear producer.
