One Direction's Niall Horan is reportedly considering a move to the US to be closer to his rumoured girlfriend Demi Lovato.
The Irish heartthrob has been linked to the X Factor USA judge since June, when they admitted Skyping each other.
Now friends are saying 19-year-old Niall finds living apart too difficult and would think about moving to America, where Demi is based.
"Niall finds the distance between them really hard," an insider revealed to the latest edition of British magazine Look.
"It's part of the reason why they've tried to keep things casual, but they can't deny their feelings anymore and Niall says he'll do whatever it takes to make Demi his official girlfriend. They speak on the phone every day and have talked about Demi going to Ireland in the New Year to meet his family."
Friends of Demi believe a reason for keeping their alleged relationship hush-hush could be her vow to avoid men after her stint in rehab in 2010.
However Demi recently admitted Niall is an "amazing listener" who makes her laugh.
"She wanted to have two years clear of men, but it's been hard not to take things further with Niall," a source said.
