Nick Lachey says that he's so excited to become a first time dad that he's even looking forward to the dirtier aspects of the role.
The 38-year-old singer-turned-television host is expecting his first child with wife Vanessa Lachey in September.
And Nick gushed that he's even eagerly anticipating losing out on his beauty rest.
"I can't even explain how excited I am," Nick told People. "For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I've looked forward to this moment. Now that it's almost here, it's awesome."
The Stars Earn Stripes competitor says he wants about three little ones in total and can't wait to get started with his baby boy.
"Maybe it's because this is my first, but I'm looking forward to the lack of sleep - everything," he said. "I don't care. I'm excited to do the whole process."
"I'm willing to change diapers. But I'm not necessarily excited to change diapers."
Nick and Vanessa tied the knot last July on Richard Branson's Necker Island after a long-term courtship.
