Nicki Minaj has a host of resolutions that she is committed to honouring in 2013.

The Super Bass rapper-and-singer brought in the New Year at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas.

Nicki arrived at the venue around 11.30pm donning a gold dress, sparkling shiny platforms of the same colour and a blonde wig.

At the party an eyewitness overheard the star outlining what she'd like to change about her life this year.

"[She's not] buying anymore shoes," the onlooker told People magazine.

"[She's also looking forward to her] clothing line and working on her third album."

Nicki celebrated the countdown to 2013 with her fellow PURE partygoers inside the club. At 1.00am the musician performed Moment 4 Life and Starships for the attendees.

Nicki didn't have as positive an experience during her performance at New York City nightclub Webster Hall on December 25. She was late to the Christmas Extravaganza concert and apparently didn't take to stage until 4am, enraging the crowd.

A source told New York Daily News that the star was "resting her vocal cords" to ensure she could give the best show possible.
